There were plenty of whispers but now we know. Alex Ovechkin would like to finish his hockey career with Dynamo Moscow in the KHL. The 35 year old Ovechkin will be an unrestricted free agent next summer and will be representing himself in negotiations with the Capitals. Talks are expected to resume soon.

“There are certain goals that I want to achieve after my career,” Ovechkin said in and interview with RTI. “But my career is not over yet and I’m still in my prime.
