Washington's Chase Young Being Cautious at Camp Because of Hip Flexor Injury

Washington edge-rusher Chase Young was limited at practice Wednesday because of a hip flexor.

Ben Standig of The Athletic provided an update from head coach Ron Rivera:

Chase Young dealing with a hip flexor, per Rivera. The rookie largely watched today out of precaution. Hope to minimize the issue rather than have a 4-5 day problem. So, yeah, we have a new topic.

Losing Young for any period of time would be a major blow for the Washington defense. The defensive end was arguably the best defensive player in college football over the past two years, registering 27 sacks and 35.
