As expected, NBC announced the NFL has flexed the Week 17 game featuring the Green Bay Packers and Minnesota Vikings to Sunday Night Football:
The matchup will essentially be an NFC North title game. Should the Vikings hold on to defeat the New York Giants in Week 16, both the Packers and Vikings will enter the final week of the season at 10-5. Minnesota lost to Green Bay, 30-13, in Week 11.
The Packers will stumble into next week's matchup on the heels of a 38-8 loss to the NFC West champion Arizona Cardinals in Week 16, though Green Bay has already clinched a playoff spot.
