After earning the honor of being the cover athlete for Madden NFL 25, San Francisco 49ers star running back Christian McCaffrey has added another accolade.
On Tuesday, McCaffrey was announced as the latest member of the coveted 99 Club in Madden, making him the first running back in 49ers history to earn the distinction. McCaffrey is the second player to receive a 99 overall rating this week, joining star receiver Tyreek Hill of the Miami Dolphins.
McCaffrey is coming off an immaculate 2023 campaign in which he was named NFL Offensive Player of the Year after leading the league with a career-high 1,459 rushing yards and 2,023 total yards from scrimmage.
