NFL Divisional - The Tennessee Titans have hired San Francisco 49ers director of player personnel Ran Carthon as their new general manager, according to a report from NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.
After a three-year stint as a player, Carthon joined the Atlanta Falcons as a pro scout before being hired as the director of pro personnel in 2012 by the St. Louis Rams. Carthon has been with the 49ers since 2017.
Carthon takes over the role from Jon Robinson, who was fired by the team midseason.
