Chargers at Lions
The Philip Rivers-era Chargers have had more than their fair share of poor luck and critical mistakes to squander the seasons of some exceptional teams by DVOA. Their 2017 team epitomized that trend. They opened that year with four straight losses, three of them by three or fewer points, two of them ending with rookie kicker Younghoe Koo missing potential game-tying 44-yard field goal attempts.
