Thomas Davis breaks arm, intends to play in SB50

Carolina's quest for Super Bowl 50 continued on without Thomas Davis on Sunday night.

The Panthers All-Pro linebacker left Sunday's NFC Championship Game win over the Cardinals with a right arm injury. Carolina quickly ruled him out, along with veteran safety Roman Harper, who suffered a first-half eye injury.

Davis told reporters in the locker room after the game that he suffered a broken arm, but still intends to play in Super Bowl 50 in two weeks.

"I believe in our training staff," Davis said.
