With 20 teams within two games of .500, the second-half of the NFL season is set for one the greatest playoff races the league has ever seen.
This year, the NFL has been plagued by low ratings and the lack of a truly dominant team. In fact, there are currently 20 teams within two games of .500 (the largest amount through Week 9 since 2004), and there are only seven teams at least three games above .500 (the lowest mark since 2012).
Does that mean the teams of 2016 aren’t as good as the teams of the recent past?
