The race for the NFC South has tightened in recent weeks with three teams separated by just two games with five remaining. Who will come out on top?
The Carolina Panthers have had a stranglehold on the NFC South for the past three seasons. Even in a year during which they finished with a sub-.500 record, the Panthers were still able to finish atop the division. But, barring a miraculous turnaround by Carolina coupled with multiple collapses by the rest of the division, we will have a new NFC South champion in 2016.
Atlanta currently holds the lead, but it is not a significant one by any stretch of the imagination.
