The Minnesota Vikings Are In Trouble

Bill Streicher-USA TODAY Sports

Losers of two straight, the Vikings have some serious flaws to fix if they hope to make a deep postseason run, or even make the playoffs at all.

Just three weeks ago, the Vikings were the league’s last undefeated team and looked like they were the clear favorite to win the NFC. The Sam Bradford trade was being regaled as a stroke of genius, and Minnesota’s defense was being lauded as arguably the best in the NFL.

Oh, what a difference two games can make.

Minnesota’s first loss was forgivable. The Eagles have looked great at home all season — they slaughtered a Roethlisberger-led Steelers team at Lincoln Financial Field — and they have the best defense by DVOA in the NFL.
