WASHINGTON, D.C. -- Denver Broncos cornerback Aqib Talib was discharged from a Dallas hospital Monday and is expected to return to Denver either Tuesday or Wednesday as he continues to recover from a gunshot wound to his lower right leg.
"I talked to Aqib at length (Sunday) and again (Monday) morning,'' Kubiak said Monday, after President Barack Obama honored the team for its Super Bowl championship. "The most important thing is he's OK. And our steps right now are to get him back to Denver hopefully (Tuesday) or Wednesday to get him headed in the right direction.
