All along, we’ve said that until Dez Bryant himself threatened to miss games, the threat would seem hollow.
So as soon as it was reported this morning that he did just that, the Cowboys are putting out word he did not.
According to Ed Werder of ESPN, Cowboys executive vice president Stephen Jones denied via text that Bryant had threatened to miss training camp or regular season games. Considering the original report said it happened in a conversation with Jones, now we have to wonder whether it was said and misunderstood, or not said at all.
