BEREA, Ohio -- The Cleveland Browns and Pro Bowl running back Nick Chubb have agreed to terms on a reworked contract that will ensure he is back on the team for the 2024 season, a source confirmed to ESPN on Thursday.
Chubb, who is coming off a season-ending left knee injury, had a base salary of $11.8 million for the 2024 season, the final year of his deal. The two sides agreed to lower that base salary while giving Chubb the chance to earn money back through incentives.
Injured in Week 2 against the Pittsburgh Steelers last year.
