Russell Wilson and Seahawks Agree to Extension

The Asterisk is getting paid. Wilson and the Seahawks apparently have agreed to a four-year, $87.6 million dollar extension, though we're not sure yet if the announced money is for 2015-2018 or for 2016-2019. It looks like Wilson will now be the second-highest paid player in the game, behind Aaron Rodgers.

This is where I should write a long treatise about how putting Wilson on the salary cap for over $20 million is going to mean massive changes in how Seattle structures its roster, but I was up until 3am working on the book (getting close!) and I need coffee.
