Reports: LeSean McCoy's Week 1 status still uncertain

LeSean McCoy’s debut with the Buffalo Bills might have to be put on hold.

The newly acquired Bills running back might not be ready for Week 1 as he continues to nurse a left hamstring injury suffered during an Aug. 18 practice. A team source indicated the hamstring injury could keep him out of the season opener versus the Indianapolis Colts, according to ESPN.com

However, despite the report, McCoy’s apparently optimistic he’ll still be able to go. A league source told ProFootballTalk.com that McCoy is confident he’ll be ready for the first game, and ESPN also indicated the team is game-planning as if McCoy will be ready.
