Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo is willing to sit on the bench as rookie Dak Prescott’s backup, NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport reports.
Romo has missed all of this season after fracturing a bone in his back and Prescott has helped lead Dallas to a 7–1 start. Romo has returned to practice but Prescott remains the starter.
Head coach Jason Garrett said getting Romo up to speed will be difficult after a long layoff.
