Details were released regarding the driving while intoxicated arrest for Patrick Mahomes Sr., who is the father of the Kansas City Chiefs' star quarterback.
Ryan Dunleavy of the New York Post cited a police affidavit that said the elder Mahomes was driving with an open Coors beer in the car when police stopped and eventually arrested him on Saturday.
Mahomes also told police he "had a few beers while watching a game at a local bar."
Dunleavy noted it was the third time Mahomes was charged with DWI, with the first two citations occurring in 2008 and 2019.
