For those following the ex-NFL defensive end Michael Sam’s adventures, it is being reported that he has returned to play with the Montreal Alouettes of the CFL. Sam, who was signed to a two-year deal by Montreal back in May, took a leave of absence for personal reasons earlier this month.
According to the Montreal Gazette, Sam was in Canada on Wednesday and plans to attend team meetings this weekend before resuming practice with the Alouettes on Monday.
Now that Sam will be back in action, it’s going to be interesting to see if Montreal continues to field calls from undisclosed NFL teams, who have contacted the team’s vice president.
