Report: Drew Brees Unable to Play Football Until September or October After Surgery

Ed Werder of ESPN threw cold water on the idea of Drew Brees making a stunning comeback to the NFL.

With the New York Post's Andrew Marchand reporting the legendary quarterback was out at NBC Sports, Brees joked he might return to the gridiron:

Despite speculation from media about my future this fall, I’m currently undecided. I may work for NBC, I may play football again, I may focus on business and philanthropy, I may train for the pickleball tour, senior golf tour, coach my kids or all of the above.
