The Redskins announced changes to their personnel department on Tuesday, including one major hire at the top.
Washington president Bruce Allen said in a press conference that former Redskins quarterback and personnel executive Doug Williams will be the team's senior vice president of player personnel.
Allen added that the organization interviewed "a dozen" candidates for the role.
