Washington Redskins head coach Jay Gruden scolded his team after Sunday's loss to the Arizona Cardinals, saying he didn't like how the team started the game.
The Cardinals took the opening kickoff and drove 75 yards in 15 plays, capped off by a one-yard score by running back David Johnson.
Washington (6–5–1) got the ball after the touchdown and promptly went three-and-out. Arizona went on to win the game 31–23, breaking a two-game losing streak. The loss by the Redskins also clinched a playoff spot for the Dallas Cowboys.
