The New England Patriots didn't have any interest in being world-beaters Sunday. They thought they could come in, employ a conservative strategy and scrape by a Miami Dolphins team that appeared to have checked out months ago.
Whoops.
Quarterback Ryan Tannehill threw for 350 yards and two touchdowns, leading Miami to a shocking 20-10 victory over New England at Sun Life Stadium that puts the Patriots in jeopardy of losing the AFC's top seed.
Given a chance to lock up the top spot with a win for the second straight week, New England once again failed.
