Veteran tight end Hunter Henry is returning to the New England Patriots in 2024.
Per NFL Network's Mike Garafolo and Ian Rapoport, the two sides have agreed to terms on a three-year deal to keep Henry in New England.
The Patriots made an aggressive play for Henry in 2021, signing him to three-year, $37.5 million contract. He had the highest salary cap hit for a tight end in 2022 and 2023.
New England handed out a total of $137.5 million guaranteed that offseason after having missed the playoffs for the first time since 2008.
