Parsons' return to Packers practice expected this week: 'We're hopeful'

GREEN BAY, Wis. -- Packers defensive end Micah Parsons will practice this week for the first time since he tore the ACL and meniscus in his left knee on Dec. 14 of last year.

"That would be the intention," coach Matt LaFleur said Monday. "Again, it's going to be a process trying to get him back, but we're hopeful. It's going to be dependent upon the next couple days, but we're hopeful he'll be able to get out there sometime this week."

The Packers' next practice is Wednesday.

LaFleur said the team held a walk-through Monday after the players had the weekend off following last Thursday's win over the Carolina Panthers.
