Packers pass on Brett Favre flag football game because of grass

Brett Favre wants to play again.

And once again, the Packers aren’t letting him anywhere near Lambeau Field.

According to Rob Demovsky of ESPN.com, Favre will be playing in a flag football game the day after he’s inducted into the Packers Hall of Fame, but it won’t be in Green Bay.

Instead, it will be at Camp Randall Stadium in Madison, since the Packers turned down the chance to host the July 19 game.

The Packers will have a Kenny Chesney-Jason Aldean concert in Lambeau on June 20 (no word on whether Riley Cooper will be there, or playing in the game).
