When Jets defensive end Muhammad Wilkerson revealed a minor setback in his recovery from a hamstring injury earlier this week, he said he wasn’t sure if he would miss Friday night’s game against the Falcons as a result.
The answer came on Wednesday and it was the one you’d likely expect given the importance of Wilkerson to the Jets defense and the fact that he’s already suffered one wrong turn on his way back to the lineup this summer. Coach Todd Bowles said that Wilkerson’s health is improving but that he will sit out this week in order to keep things on the right track.
