NFL teams are tentatively expecting the salary cap in 2025 to fall between $265 million and $275 million, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport and Tom Pelissero.
That would be a slight bump from the $255.4 million teams have to spend this season.
"The cap is, in fact, expected to rise from $255.4 million this league year, sources say," Rapoport and Pelissero said. "But how much it rises may not be clear for months. The league and union traditionally finish their accounting and agree to the final number around the NFL Scouting Combine, which takes place in late February and early March in Indianapolis.
