NFL Rumors: Stefon Diggs, Texans Rework Contract After Trade; Will Be FA in 2025

The Houston Texans have reworked the contract of star wide receiver Stefon Diggs after he was acquired in a trade with the Buffalo Bills on Wednesday, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.

Per Schefter, the Texans removed the final three years on Diggs' current contract and will allow him to become a free agent after the 2024 season. Houston also took his $3.5 million in guaranteed money in 2025 and moved it up to 2024, giving him a guaranteed total of $22.52 million in 2024.
