NFL Power Rankings Poll, Week 8: Patriots Back on Top in a Good Week for Iconic QBs

This week’s MMQB NFL Power Rankings Poll is definitive proof that time moves in a circle. I’m not sure what that means in this case, but I’m referring to the preseason No. 1 New England Patriots re-taking the top spot.

All voters actually had the same top-four, Patriots-Steelers-Eagles-Chiefs in some order. That seems meaningful. But not nearly as meaningful as this week’s biggest movers . . .

BIGGEST RISERS

Los Angeles Chargers (24th to 19th): Maybe they’re just good, right? They were a botched field goal away from forcing overtime in Denver, a botched field goal away from beating Miami in Week 2, and lost by just two points to the Eagles when they couldn’t get off the field late in the game.
