Mitchell Trubisky Is Holding Back the Bears and Chicago Needs to Move on

It was worse than it sounds.

The Chicago Bears were defeated 36-25 by the New Orleans Saints Sunday, but Chicago was outplayed by a substantially larger margin than that score indicates.

At home following a bye week, against a team that was without its Hall of Fame quarterback and superstar running back, Chicago was overwhelmed and humiliated by New Orleans. And while that doesn't all fall on Bears quarterback Mitchell Trubisky, the third-year signal-caller again showed that he doesn't have what it takes to lead this franchise.

On home field, Trubisky was utterly outplayed Sunday by the Saints' backup quarterback, Teddy Bridgewater, and now it's apparent the Bears have a quarterback problem.
