It remains to be seen what market, if any, awaits Falcons offensive coordinator Kyle Shanahan as a potential head coach in the league, but according to his father, former 20-year head coach, Mike, his son should have a feel for what could be coming.
The younger Shanahan is in the midst of his second year coordinating a red-hot Falcons offense, in the top 10 in most relevant categories. The Falcons currently lead the league in points per game (32.5) and rank third in yards per game (411.5), passing yards (3,334) and passing touchdowns (26) — which is just a snapshot of how dominant the Falcons have been riding the arm of quarterback Matt Ryan.
