The NFL got ready for the weekend by issuing a trio of suspensions.
The biggest news is that Dallas Cowboys linebacker Rolando McClain has been suspended for 10 games for violating the league's policy against substances of abuse. In his career with the Raiders and Cowboys, McClain has now been suspended by the NFL twice and by his team once, and has also retired once and dealt with a long list of criminal charges. Just a few months ago, the Cowboys re-signed him to a one-year deal worth up to $4 million with incentives.
