Pouncey Carted to Locker Room
Sunday, August 23
Ed Bouchette of the Pittsburgh-Post Gazette observed Pouncey's left ankle while he was being carted away, noting it looked "swollen."
The Steelers announced Pouncey would not return to the game while Mark Kaboly of the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review added that Cody Wallace took Pouncey's spot at center.
Alex Marvez of Fox Sports noted that this particular area of the body seems to affect Pouncey more than most players at his position:
I don't know of any offensive lineman who has suffered more lower-leg/ankle injuries than @Steelers C @MaurkicePouncey.
