The Seattle Seahawks need Marshawn Lynch back in the mix -- and they just might get him.
Coach Pete Carroll told reporters on Monday that the team's sidelined running back has a chance to return to practice on Wednesday "if today and tomorrow go well" and team doctors clear him to return.
Lynch hasn't played since Week 10 after undergoing sports hernia surgery. His time has been spent rehabbing in the Bay Area, but NFL Media Insider Ian Rapoport reported Sunday that Beast Mode is expected to return to Seattle sometime in the middle of this week.
