Lions' Cameron Sutton Was at Team Facility When Arrest Warrant Was Made Public

Former Detroit Lions cornerback Cameron Sutton was at the team's facility when authorities in Florida publicized a warrant for his arrest.

Team president Rod Wood told Dan Miller of Fox 2 Detroit that Lions officials spoke directly with Sutton once the warrant became widely known because he was working out at their facility. Wood added that team reps advised the 29-year-old to begin seeking legal counsel:

The Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office announced on March 20 that Sutton was wanted for aggravated battery—domestic violence. The Lions released him the following day.
