The Denver Broncos claimed running back Justin Forsett off waivers Monday, according to Adam Schefter of ESPN.
Broncos head coach Gary Kubiak was the Ravens offensive coordinator in 2014 when Forsett went to the Pro Bowl and finished with a career-high 1,266 rushing yards and eight touchdowns.
The 31-year-old running back was a member of the Detroit Lions before they released him this week.
Forsett appeared in only two games for Detroit, totaling 38 rushing yards on 13 carries. He was a healthy scratch once Theo Riddick and Dwayne Washington returned from injury.
