Kansas City Chiefs on Tuesday in wake of an arrest for burglary of a residence, aggravated domestic assault and trespassing.
The Chiefs announced the roster move mere hours after news of the arrest became public. Adam Teicher of ESPN confirmed the charges pending against Cox and noted he previously faced aggravated domestic violence and burglary charges while at Mississippi State, which were later dropped.
He missed the final three games of his collegiate career as a result of the prior arrest. Michael Bonner of the Clarion-Ledger reported the latest incident happened Monday afternoon at an apartment complex in Starkville, Mississippi.
