Jane Slater of NFL Network reported that Reed was on the sidelines with a sling on his left arm after taking a hit during the first half of Thursday's game.
The extent of the injury or a timetable for a possible return has not been disclosed yet.
The fourth-year man has shown flashes of becoming an elite tight end in the NFL, especially during a 2015 season in which he put up 87 receptions for 952 yards and 11 touchdowns.
