Jonathan Stewart Signs 1-Day Contract to Retire with Panthers

Running back Jonathan Stewart retired from the NFL on Tuesday after signing a one-day contract with the Carolina Panthers.

The Panthers selected Stewart with the 13th overall pick in the 2008 draft. He spent the first 10 seasons of his 11-year career in Carolina before playing the 2018 campaign with the New York Giants.
