The Minnesota Vikings have selected Michigan quarterback J.J. McCarthy with the No. 10 overall pick in the 2024 NFL draft.
Minnesota moved from No. 11 to No. 10 after making a trade with the New York Jets.
McCarthy finished 27-1 as Michigan's starter over two seasons. For his collegiate career, the 21-year-old completed 67.6 percent of his passes for 49 touchdowns (11 interceptions) and 6,226 yards (8.7 yards per attempt).
He helped lead the Wolverines to a 15-0 record and the school's first national title since 1997 to close out his sensational college career.
