Jets defensive lineman Sheldon Richardson has been suspended without pay for the first game of the 2016 regular season for violating the NFL Personal Conduct Policy, the team announced.
Richardson will be eligible to return the the Jets' active roster on Monday, September 12. He is eligible to participate in all preseason practices and games.
