Jeff Fisher reportedly gets two-year contract extension with Los Angeles Rams

Jeff Fisher has received a two-year contract extension from the Rams, whom he's on track to lead to a fifth consecutive losing season, NFL Media's Ian Rapoport reported Sunday morning.

Rapoport indicates Fisher actually signed the extension earlier in the season, which was agreed upon before the Rams began their first campaign in Los Angeles since 1979. ESPN indicates the Rams have a team option and could still opt to move on at season's end from Fisher, but they didn't want him going into a lame-duck 2016 campaign.

ESPN also reports GM Les Snead, who drafted 2015 Offensive Rookie of the Year, Todd Gurley, and 2014 Defensive Rookie of the Year, Aaron Donald, has also been extended, as Adam Schefter first reported.
