Cowboys wide receiver Dez Bryant said last week that reports about his willingness to miss the start of the regular season if he doesn’t sign a long-term deal are “legit,” something that his agent Tom Condon addressed on Tuesday.
Condon, appearing on Sirius XM NFL Radio with Bruce Murray and Rich Gannon, said that Bryant was “resolute in his determination” to get the deal he wants and that resolve could lead him to miss “some undetermined period of time” during the regular season. Despite those words from Bryant and Condon, Cowboys coach Jason Garrett isn’t worrying about the possibility of taking the field without Bryant in September.
