Jaguars To Place Franchise Tag on Evan Engram

NFL Offseason - The Jacksonville Jaguars are expected to place the franchise tag on tight end Evan Engram, according to a report from ESPN's Adam Schefter.

The tight end franchise tag locks Engram in at $11.345 million for the 2023 season. Additional reporting from NFL Network's Cameron Wolfe notes that the tag is not solidified yet. Jacksonville Jaguars general manager Trent Baalke will use the tag if the team cannot work out a long-term deal. Regardless, the Jaguars will not allow Engram to hit the open market.

Engram signed with the Jacksonville Jaguars in 2022 after five seasons with the New York Giants.
