Jaguars rookie Michael Bennett was a second-team All-Big Ten defensive tackle last year and helped Ohio State win a national championship. And he did it without trying very hard.
Bennett admits that football came so easily to him in college that he could succeed without really hustling. Now he says he’s committed to being a professional and disappointed in himself when he looks back at the way he used to coast on the field.
“I didn’t have a good motor in college, at least not all the time,” he told the Florida Times-Union. “But the more you watch film and see yourself do that, the more disgusted you get with yourself.
