Injury Aftermath: Week 17

DeMarco Murray still has not practiced since injuring his MCL in Week 16, and is very unlikely to play against the Chiefs in the wild-card round of the playoffs. Cornerback Brice McCain has a hamstring injury, which is typically enough to keep a defensive back out for at least one game. Kalan Reed and Jonnu Smith are both in the concussion protocol, but are cleared for practice. That means their chances of being cleared to play before Saturday are relatively good.

The Chiefs were able to rest some key players in Week 17, but saw receiver De'Anthony Thomas break his leg -- meaning he will be placed on injured reserve.
