Cincinnati Bengals at Kansas City Chiefs

Kansas City Chiefs head coach Andy Reid confirmed that quarterback Patrick Mahomes suffered a right high ankle sprain, according to The Athletic’s Nate Taylor. Reid added that his ankle sprain “isn’t as quite as bad” as the one suffered during the 2019 regular season, and Mahomes is expected to play in the AFC Championship. In addition to injuries suffered last week by tackle Jonah Williams and guard Alex Cappa, center Ted Karras played through a knee injury during Sunday’s game against the Buffalo Bills, according to The Enquirer’s Kelsey Conway.
