With 173 wins as a head coach in the NFL – 31 with the St. Louis/Los Angeles Rams and 142 with the Houston Oilers/Tennessee Titans – Jeff Fisher is the 11th winningest coach in NFL history.
However, with his Rams 42-14 loss to the Falcons on Sunday, Fisher earned his 165th loss as an NFL head coach, tying Dan Reeves for the most in NFL history and that is a small part of why he was fired Monday by the Rams.
Fisher’s .512 winning percentage is easily the worst among the 15 coaches in NFL history with 170 or more wins.
