After the Washington Redskins managed to gain a measly 14 yards on the ground Sunday in their 44-16 loss to the Carolina Panthers, former Redskins running back Clinton Portis was left with the impression he could help out in the Washington backfield.

"I really think I could go out there and get seven carries for zero yards. Matter of fact, I’m going to get you a first down out of those seven carries.
