Someone sent me this link on Twitter, and it's a really good guide to understanding one of my pet peeves about football on television: announcers who can't understand the difference between a jet sweep, an end around, a reverse, and a double reverse. Familiarize yourself with the lingo! Note that there also are some folks who DO think there's a difference also between a "jet sweep" and a "fly sweep," though the linked article lists them as the same play.
Also, the fake end around or fake jet sweep designed to fool the defense when you are handing the ball off to the running back is known as a "ghost.
